Original piece by Californian artist Sandy Kaiman. Painted on wood with artist signature pull tab hook on back. Picture painted in 1981 and displays pop culture character Woodsy the Owl. Known History on the piece: Artist created Owls in humorous fashion and professions. This particular piece honors Bruce L Hammond a career Funeral Director who shared a keen sense of humor professionally and loved to collect Funeral Memorabilia. According to public record the artist moved to N.C. and is in her 70’s. Sadly Mr. Hammond passed away in 2013.
